This trek is a wonderful opportunity to witness the beauty of the Annapurna region with a shorter trek. The trip starts just from north of the city Pokhara and winds through the Poon Hill area.
It is also known as short n' sweet trek. Most of these deviations will visit Ghorepani and Ghandruk. Ghorepani is just below the famed vantage point of Poonhill - one of the best spots to see the views of central Nepal Himalayan panorama. This is one of the lower elevation treks that we offer rising to only 3200 m
Itinerary
Kathmandu – Pokhara:
Day 01
Drive or fly to Pokhara.
Pokhara - Tikhedhunga (1577m):
Day 02
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul about 45 minutes 1 hour and start trekking. After walking 3/4 hours, we stop at Tikhedhunga.
Tikhedhunga – Ghorepani (2850 m):
Day 03
We climb up straightly about 1.30 hours to Ulleri and gradually walking to Ghorepani. Ghorepani is the most popular and beautiful place to see the views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna region as well as the thick and big forest of rhododendrons, stay overnight at lodge and next morning climb to Poonhill (3210m) for the breathtaking view of Himalayan range and sunrise.
Ghorepani - Tadapani (1189m):
Day 04
Continue to trek at usual time of 4/5 hours to Tadapani.
Tadapani – Ghandrung:
Day 5
Ghandrung is one of the beautiful settlements of ethnic Gurung people. There, you may visit old gurung museum, typical villages and good view of terrace field and Fishtail and Annapurna mountains.
Ghandrung - Birethanti and drive back to Pokhara:
Day 6
Easy walk about 4 to 5 hours and get drive to Pokhara.
Pokhara Kathmandu:
Day 07
Fly or Drive back to Kathmandu.
