The Dolpa Region is a remote and culturally rich area located in northwestern Nepal, within Dolpa district of Karnali Province. Much of it falls inside the Shey Phoksundo National Park, and parts of Upper Dolpa are classified as a restricted area, requiring special trekking permits. It is one of the least developed but most stunning regions of Nepal.
